Am I the only person on the planet who thinks "shells" is the worst fucking shape for pasta to ever be twisted into? Because shells have rhyme with hell for some reason and I swear to God, biting unassumingly into what you thought was one (1) singular shell only to find it was actually two that decided to get closer than a couple of teenagers in the back of a car and not fucking cook all the way through is the worst fucking experience and I will shoot the italian who thought that this was the masterpiece form pasta needed.

You could also adding a little bit of olive oil to your boiling water, that usually helps me whenever I find that my pasta being a sticky rude dude.

I was doing like, a boxed meal where the shells were cooked in the sauce, so I didn't have the chance to. However, I still had the problem when I used to eat the Velveeta Mac n Cheese boxes. The shells in that would always do the thing and it sucked, even if I salted the water (which I always do), so I switched to the Kraft Mac n Cheese with the liquid pouch exclusively bc they use elbows instead.

Do you salt your pasta water? cuz salting the water helps keep things from sticking and I've never had this issue with shells I've cooked myself.

Gonna be feral about shells. I would ideally love little sauce bowls, but I have half of the expected bowls for sauce because they've decided to weave themselves into each other and create this disaster texture for my mouth. And it gets even worse when three of them have decided to do this and morph themselves into one big ass super shell where the middle shell in this is nearly completely uncooked.
